The third part of our archaeology series is online. The short documentary "The Dugout - Boats of the Neolithic Age", which was produced in cooperation with the Cantonal Archaeology Zurich, can now be watched on our Youtube channel.
In it, archaeologist Christian Harb and experimental archaeologist Markus Binggeli tell a lot of interesting facts about the dugout canoe.

One year after the release of the documentary film, an information board with QR code (Leads directly to the film on Youtube) was installed on the path to the castle ruin Freienstein. Christian Winkel of the Cantonal Archaeology Zurich (photo below left), local historian and ex-community president Werner Lienhard and filmmaker Greg Bächi (both photo above left) were present.
On Whit Monday our documentary film "Burg Freienstein - Raubritter & Schwerter" will be broadcast on the TV channel Tele Top.

In the survey on our YouTube channel, 50% of the participants show interest in videos on all eras, 31% have expressed their interest in the Middle Ages and 19% would like to see something about the Celts and Romans.
In cooperation with the Cantonal Archaeology of Zurich, we have already been able to define some content. It is certain that we will be present with the camera at a medieval excavation. In addition, we will present very interesting finds from different eras in the course of the year.
With our new archaeology video series, we seem to have opened doors. The first two videos have cracked the 1,000 views mark within a very short time. In the case of "The shoes of the Neolithic age", there are already more than 3,000 views.
The videos not only attract attention in this country, but also abroad. This shows us that we are on the right track! Many thanks to all who support us and spread the content. :)
The second part of our archaeology series is called "The Neolithic Settlement of Lake Pfäffikon". In it, archaeologist Adrian Huber tells about the excavation of the Neolithic settlement, shows interesting finds and gives an insight into the life of people at that time.
